If I could give it more than 5 stars I certainly would. It was not just a tea, it was an experience. The decorations are so much fun, I could spend hours just enjoying the creativity of the owner and her family. The food was delicious and the owner and her family couldn’t have been nicer. I can’t wait to bring more family. A real gem in Stockton, one everyone should experience

An absolute out of this world experience. I chose to reserve a table for myself before starting my second year of school and this was the best gift I could’ve gotten myself! The owners are extremely kind and seem to love what they do, The ambience, music, bookshelves and trinkets are so perfect. I ate everything they brought me and tried three teas. Everything was 10 out of 10! 😍

Brought my mom and son to NovelTea for the first time and we loved our experience here. From the accommodations (thank you!) to the service. Our table was beautifully set (in my favorite colors!) with a handmade sign which I felt gave a nice personal touch and a pot of Noveltea’s House tea. Melanie and her Husband were very welcoming and attentive the whole time and made sure we had everything we needed. I was expecting just scones, tea and our tower but instead we were bestowed with deliciously themed scones, salad and tomato soup (the spice; although nicely balanced)caught me off guard but I thwarted its attack. Needless to say these all were devoured before I could get a photo. Soooo….Your going to just have to go try it for yourself to see how much creativity and love was put into them 😉 While waiting for our tower, the decor and music kept us entertained and left much to the imagination (my son thought you guys were making the clouds move above us as apart of the experience 🤭 it was the a/c) We ordered the Marilla’s Respite tea and man o’ man it tasted EXACTLY as it smelled (kinda like Strawberries n cream) my son even tried and liked it which was shocking because he doe

Visited this new tearoom yesterday with friends and it was so delightful from cover to cover! Gorgeous details with the decor and so much whimsy from the sea monster breaking out of the stove to the dragon made of book pages flying overhead. Most importantly, the food was excellent. The scones were hot and fresh, the sandwiches all delicious. The tea was plentiful and not limited to just 1 choice per person, which is highly unusual for a tearoom. And there was a lot of food at a very reasonable price point. I'm enjoying leftovers this morning. The owner and her father served us and were very friendly and personable. I look forward to booking another table with more friends soon!

What an amazing experience! From the moment I walked into this charming little place I could recognize that there was a lot of intention and hardwork that was put into it. So many details to fall in love with! The ambience is a 10/10. Customer service is fantastic a very efficient and genuine staff. The owner is incredibly sweet. The food was absolutely delicious, it looked as good as it tasted! The tea is 10/10 I had the house blend and the hobbits hearth and considering im not a tea person, I loved it and pretty much finished the whole pot with my husband!! If you ever get a chance to experience this charming place, you definitely should! Especially if you are a bookworm!
